GBRf takes lead in British rail freight

Hupac Group has announced that CEO Michail Stahlhut will step down from his role in May 2026 after eight years in charge. The company has started the process of selecting his successor.

Rohrdorfer and ÖBB Rail Cargo Group are moving weekly Fluasit shipments from Gmunden to the Brenner Base Tunnel site. The rail programme is expected to replace around 1,480 truck journeys by 2029.

Under the arrangement, maritime containers moving through Wilhelmshaven are transferred to rail for inland distribution to Debrecen.
