Timber freight returns to Falkenhagen

The fleet, equipped with Innofreight “RockTainer ORE” containers, will handle around 1.8 million tonnes of iron ore annually from the Erzberg site in Styria.

A new direct rail connection between Parma and Sweden has launched this week, offering a fixed weekly schedule and three-day transit time between Italy and Örebro.

The Swedish freight operator will transport input materials to the plant and outgoing steel products from the site.
