In this video I take a careful look at the recent controversy surrounding Ross Coulthart’s claims about Luis Elizondo and the idea of a managed disclosure effort beginning in 2017. Rather than choosing sides, I examine the historical logic behind the claims and ask what such a strategy would actually have been trying to accomplish. Finally, I explore whether a long-running bureaucratic struggle may better explain the history than either a simple disclosure narrative or a simple disinformation narrative. As always, my goal is not to rush to conclusions, but to ask better questions.
