A horseback rider has discovered hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of solar-powered devices arranged in a deliberate pattern across the slopes of California’s Mount Shasta.
As the rider moves through the area, many of the devices can be heard emitting a constant white noise-like sound. Some also appear to broadcast what resembles a human voice. The units are spread over a large section of the mountain and become audible only when you are within a certain distance of them.
The objects appear to be spaced at fairly regular intervals, which is exactly what you would expect if they were intended to provide uniform sound coverage, consistent electromagnetic coverage, or systematic environmental monitoring.
Mount Shasta has long been associated with legends of Lemurians, UFOs, mysterious energy vortices, and spiritual retreats. Because of its reputation, the discovery has naturally sparked speculation. Some believe the devices may have been installed by a spiritual group to play chants or meditation recordings. Others have proposed more extraordinary possibilities, suggesting they were intended to attract UFOs, communicate with non-human intelligences, conceal secret activities, or serve another paranormal purpose. However, there is no evidence to support these claims.
Another suggestion is that the devices may not be conventional speakers at all, but solar-powered mantra players. This idea also remains unverified.
Whatever their true purpose, the presence of so many of these devices scattered across Mount Shasta raises intriguing questions and suggests they were placed there for a specific reason.
The horseback rider humorously dubbed the mysterious installation the “Lemurian Beacon System.”
