Siemens wins 30-year Mireo service deal

East-West Intermodal Logistics (EWG) and A.P. Moller – Maersk have launched a partnership at Fényeslitke that will add container depot and dry port functions to the Hungarian terminal.

A Siemens-led consortium will replace ageing signalling and interlocking systems across 560 kilometres of Romania’s rail network. The programme covers 66 stations, 122 level crossings and more than 2,000 signals.
