Emirates flew to Nigeria between 2004 and 2022. The abrupt end two years ago, which has been discussed extensively elsewhere, was because the carrier could not repatriate revenue in USD. There was little point in transporting hundreds of thousands of passengers annually and being unable to benefit financially from it.
