Garden railway festival boosts tourism in North Wales town

A garden railway festival in Llangollen, held in partnership with the Llangollen Railway on 5th June, provided a boost for the town’s tourist trade.

A special celebration is being held this weekend at the Llangollen and Corwen Railway to mark 30 years of volunteering by Wayne and Sue Ronneback.

Memories of the 1980s will come to the Llangollen and Corwen Railway at the end of this month with a ‘Diesel Power and the Ultimate 80’s Weekend’.
