DB Regio Mitte presents Stadler battery trains for Saarland

ÖBB has presented its new Cityjet double-deck train, with the first units set to enter passenger service in eastern Austria from late June.

The Class 847 units are based at depots in Praha-Libeň and Rakovník and now operate more than 10,000 km per day within Prague Integrated Transport (PID).

The agreement starts on 12 December 2027 and runs for nine years.
