Kenya and Tanzania independently progress with their standard-gauge freight links

Kenya has started construction of the Naivasha–Kisumu–Malaba standard-gauge railway extension, while Tanzania Railways Corporation is preparing standard-gauge freight operations from Dar es Salaam port to Bahi.
