East Africa internet disrupted again by new subsea cable cuts

Internet services across East Africa were reportedly disrupted on Sunday due to yet more subsea cable faults, this time on the Eastern Africa Submarine Cable System (EASSy) and the Seacom cable.

Bifrost cable linking US and SEA is ready for service, says Keppel

Keppel – one of the owners of the Bifrost Cable System – said on Thursday that the subsea cable linking the US to Southeast Asia is now ready for service and will now gear up to carry commercial traffic in the coming weeks.
