Union Pacific and CN post record grain volumes

The intermodal solution operates on a nearly 300 km rail route from Rohrdorfer in Gmunden to Steinach am Brenner, with deliveries supporting works on construction section H53.

DB InfraGO will reroute freight traffic during the Hannover–Berlin corridor works, with trains using Braunschweig and Magdeburg and, from late January 2027, an additional route via Halle–Eichenberg.
