Sri Lanka plans to let independent firms build telecoms towers

Chilean telecoms regulator Subtel has launched an online platform that aggregates mobile and broadband providers, aiming to make it easier for citizens to get connected and advance the country’s goal of closing the digital divide.

Around 3.1 billion people are not connected to the internet despite living in coverage areas, highlighting a massive global usage gap.
