METRANS launches south Poland – north Slovakia rail service

The train departed from the Sknyliv–Lisky terminal in Lviv and is bound for the East West Gate terminal at Fényeslitke.

The flows add to RheinCargo’s bulk materials portfolio serving steel and heavy industry customers in the Rhine-Ruhr region.

As of February 2026, the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes remain a core trade lifeline for Ukraine, supporting the majority of imports and a large share of non-agricultural exports.
