Amtrak adopts single-deck strategy for long-distance fleet renewal

The level crossing accident in Buggenhout has claimed at least four lives, including two children.

SBB, SNCF Voyageurs and SNCB plan to test a direct Basel–Strasbourg–Brussels TGV INOUI service from July 2027.

Commercial services are scheduled to begin in July 2029, with 25 trainsets planned for introduction by the first half of fiscal year 2032.
