UZ Cargo Poland transports semitrailers by rail from Lviv to Hungary

ÖBB Rail Cargo Group transported 61.9 million tonnes of goods in and through Austria in 2025, accounting for around 64% of the country’s rail freight volume.

The meeting followed talks between DB CEO Evelyn Palla, the three state governments, DB InfraGO and DB Cargo.

Britta Weber has taken over as CEO of the Hupac Group, with a focus on customers, terminal capacity and restoring rail’s share of transalpine freight.
