Time flies (bad pun intended since this is an aviation publication, after all). Hard to believe as it may seem, it was 25 years ago today, May 7, 1999, that the United States Air Force “accidentally” bombed the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now officially known as the Republic of Serbia). At least that’s the official story; I put “accidentally” in quotation marks because, to this day, some conspiracy-minded pundits believe that the bombing was not so accidental.
