Rail Cargo Group transports binderholz timber elements from Austria to Netherlands

The working visit was intended to improve coordination with regional and Chinese partners on international freight movements, as ASEAN–China rail freight volumes depend on multiple national networks and interfaces rather than a single operator.

The fleet, equipped with Innofreight “RockTainer ORE” containers, will handle around 1.8 million tonnes of iron ore annually from the Erzberg site in Styria.
