Ethio Telecom and Somcable talk cross-border partnership

The telecommunications sector in the Republic of Congo is welcoming a new arrival with the announcement that Brazzaville-headquartered and state-owned operator Congo Telecom, known mainly for fixed services, has entered the mobile market.

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has reportedly urged the country’s  four main state-owned telcos to lead the charge in implementing the government’s semiconductor growth strategy.
