The Airbus A380 continues to play an important role in Lufthansa’s fleet. Eight frames are still used, all of which remain based at its Munich hub. They include D-AIMH, which is in Shannon to be painted into the carrier’s 100th anniversary livery. Six superjumbos have been withdrawn.
