Digital Realty, which describes itself as the largest global provider of cloud and carrier-neutral data centre, colocation and interconnection solutions, has joined the race for data centre space in Malaysia.
Alibaba Cloud announced on Thursday it has launched its second data centre in Thailand to increase its local capacity and launch an enhanced portfolio of services aimed at select verticals, with a particular focus on generative AI apps.
UAE-based Khazna Data Centers said it has broken ground on two new facilities in the UAE as it looks to expand its data centre footprint and meet demand for AI workloads.
UAE-based telco e& announced on Wednesday that it is exiting Khazna Data Centres – its joint venture with AI and cloud firm Group 42 – and will sell its 40% stake to G42 for US$2.2 billion.
