Guinea takes full control of Areeba Guinee after seizing MTN stake

Kazakhtelecom completed the US$1.1 billion sale of its subsidiary, Mobile Telecom Service LLP, to Qatari Power International Holding (PIH) in a move to align with the Kazakh president’s orders to demonopolise the Kazakh mobile market.

Sri Lankan telco Dialog Axiata said on Thursday it has officially take 100% control of rival telco Bharti Airtel Lanka via a share swap, sealing a deal that has been in the works for over a year.
