Mauritius Telecom to partner with Orange, Reliance Jio for new subsea cable

India’s leading operator Reliance Jio is now the world’s largest mobile operator in terms of data traffic consumption, overtaking China Mobile.

Sri Lanka-based operator Dialog Axiata has expanded its 5G roaming footprint to 40 countries through partnerships with more than 150 operators worldwide.

Malaysian telco U Mobile announced on Friday it has appointed CIMB Bank to facilitate and arrange financing of up to MYR4 billion (almost US$940 million) to support the nationwide deployment of its 5G network infrastructure.
