Vanu and Project Kuiper partner to boost rural connectivity in Africa

UAE-based satellite firm Space42 announced on Tuesday it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat) to explore ways to collaborate on direct-to-device (D2D) satellite connectivity.

Satellite service provider Starlink has shut down access to its satellite internet service in Uganda after receiving instructions to do so from the country’s regulator, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
