Data centre operators in the Philippines announce a “unified alliance”

Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) and Indian realty firm RMZ announced on Tuesday that they have formed a joint venture to invest US$1.7 billion in data centre development in India.

AirTrunk, an Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) hyperscale data centre specialist, has announced plans to develop its second cloud and AI-ready data centre in Malaysia.

Philippines-based service provider PLDT is widely reported to be in talks to sell just under 50% of its data centre business to Japanese telecommunications company NTT.
