USDOT Takes Big Bite Out Of Airline Ancillaries With New "Junk Fee" Rules

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) has announced a rule mandating airlines and agents to inform passengers of any so-called "junk fees" they may face with their fares. This includes bag-checking fees and reservation change/cancelation charges.
