Starlink cuts connectivity to 2,500 kits used by scammers in Myanmar

SpaceX’s satellite division, Starlink, has disconnected more than 2,500 of its satellite kits that were being used by scammers operating in Myanmar.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) said on Tuesday it has officially issued a telecoms licence to SpaceX’s LEO satellite broadband operator Starlink to offer services in the country.
