AFR-IX Telecom announces Medusa cable’s first landing

PLDT announced on Friday it has successfully completed its two subsea cable branches connecting the Philippines to the intra-Asian Apricot cable system that will run between Japan and Singapore.

Executives at Philippine broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions have reportedly said that two major international subsea cable networks it’s participating in are behind schedule and may not be completed until next year.
