A fire started in the tail of a retired Cathay Airbus A330-300 and spread across the rest of the aircraft, leaving the fuselage completely destroyed. The aircraft was parked at Ciudad Real International Airport (CQM) in central Spain. The local fire department in the Castilla-La Mancha region and other authorities attended the blaze on April 18th. Multiple fire appliances attended the fire, with the airport fire crew and other local departments attending.

Delta Air Lines, on April 13th, unveiled its next generation Delta One suite which will be installed on the airline’s new Airbus A350-1000s and older A330-200s and -300s.The finalization and presentation of this new product follows a two-year intentional design process and, in the airline’s words, “a decade of data from customers and employees alike.”
