The flag carrier of Papua New Guinea has entered its latest chapter in aviation history, becoming the 25th operator of the Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The Micronesian country, which is located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, is composed of multiple islands and extremely mountainous terrain, meaning that aviation connectivity for the country is vital.
