Nepal blocks social media sites 

Last month’s internet blackouts in Bangladesh during student protests that led to the ouster of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were ordered by the government and not the result of data centre fires, according to an independent probe.

India’s news media outlets are reporting that there may be government interest in reallocating some broadcasting spectrum for use in 5G networks.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Tuesday issued its recommendations for auctioning off millimetre wave (mmWave) spectrum for 5G services at a relatively lower price than previous auctions.
