True partners with global tech firms to boost smart-home platform

A consortium led by Xavier Niel-owned investment company NJJ Holding completed the acquisition of Ukrainian operator Lifecell from Turkcell for US$524.3 million, with aims to merge it with fixed telecom and pay TV provider Datagroup-Voila.

Magyar Telekom announced the sale of spectrum to rival Yettel in a move to optimise its frequencies portfolio, and increase capacity in 4G and 5G services.   

MTN Benin contracted NuRAN Wireless for 200 sites to deploy  2G, 3G and 4G in rural locations across Benin.
