Yesterday evening, a Turkish AirlinesBoeing 777 had to be evacuated after landing due to smoke having been observed as emanating from the aircraft’s landing gear while on the taxiway. This was completed promptly using the triple-seven’s emergency slides, with no injuries reported among the 260 people onboard.
