Exciting times for the Metro Tunnel with Town Hall Railway Station nearing completion. The connection with Flinders Street via Degraves Street Subway looks fantastic and looks above expectation.
This is going to be worth the wait for opening.
The project will make such a difference to Melbourne that consideration should immediately be given to Metro Tunnel 2
Nice and wide and open and nicely lit going to be a special opening.
If only these projects had been started in the past 15 years we would be a better city. Melbourne is falling down the ranks of the world most liveable cities this will help stop that and together with the SRL we will have some modern transport. Through Government corruption and neglect it has been nearly 50 years since a new rail line of note was built.
We need more of these projects and now.
Looks impressive.
Personally looking forward to taking a ride but hearing now 2 of the city stations will not be open until 2026.
