The Airbus A380 is the world’s only full-length twin-deck aircraft, boasting the largest maximum seating capacity of any aircraft around today. It can carry 248 more passengers than its closest counterpart, the Boeing 747-8. That is the equivalent of the seating capacity of an Airbus A321neo, which has a maximum seating capacity of 244 passengers. The Airbus A380 was also designed to serve ultra-long-haul routes, which required the aircraft to carry more fuel.
