Revered by both airlines and their passengers for its large windows, five-abreast seats, and excellent operating economics, the Airbus A220 (formerly the Bombardier CSeries) has been touted by many as the future of lower-demand short-haul air travel. However, not every airline has been able to make the type work, and issues have caused certain carriers’ examples to spend lots of time on the ground.
