Iron Maiden is a heavy metal band founded by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris on December 25, 1975, in East London. The English band became a household name and the powerhouse of heavy metal performances in concerts worldwide. The band used two aBoeing aircraft, primarily for their world tours. Around 2009, Iron Maiden commissioned a former Astraeus Airlines Boeing 757 and converted it into a combi configuration.
