A Brazilian renewable energy company, Casa dos Ventos, has been given the go-ahead from the country’s power grid regulator for a 300-megawatt data centre project in the Pecem port complex in Ceara, northeastern Brazil.

Indonesian data centre firm NeutraDC Nxera Batam announced on Thursday it has topped off its new hyperscale data centre in the Kabil industrial estate in Batam, and has also secured Tier III design certification from the Uptime Institute.
