Eutelsat Group says it has signed a multi-year, multimillion-dollar deal with African ICT integrator NEC XON to supply connectivity capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa via Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO satellite constellation.

Global satellite operator Intelsat has agreed to buy more capacity from Eutelsat’s OneWeb’s LEO satellite constellation to expand Intelsat’s multi-orbit business strategy and cash in on growing demand for LEO connectivity.
Veon-owned digital operator Beeline Kazakhstan said on Monday it has completed its field test of Starlink Direct to Cell (D2C) LEO satellite service ahead of a planned commercial service launch in the country next year.
