Lufthansa is currently facing two Allegris-related certification issues with its seats. One is its business class seats on its new 787s, and the other is the first row in the economy class on some of its Airbus A350-900 jets. Lufthansa has faced various issues with its Allegris seats on its A350s, and, when it first started flying the type, it had to leave the first class empty. While that issue has since been worked out, it currently can’t sell the first row of economy class seats in its Allegris-configured A350s.
