Across the African continent, modern fleets, especially those equipped with the latest widebody technology, are exceptionally rare, with only a few examples, such as EgyptAir, Royal Air Maroc, and Ethiopian Airlines, coming to mind. In Sub-Saharan West Africa, the difference is even more pronounced, with Air Senegal being among the only operators of the latest-generation widebody airliners.
