When Will Air New Zealand Retire The Boeing 777-300ER?

Air New Zealand connects the isolated country of New Zealand, in the South Pacific Ocean, to the world. The airline has a modest network of short and long-haul international routes serving cities around the Pacific Rim. The airline’s widebody fleet comprises two aircraft types: the Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 777- 300ER. While the Dreamliner has opened up new destinations for the carrier (such as New York), it begs the question as to when the airline plans to retire its aging 777s.
