Vienna International Airport (VIE) is the busiest airport serving Austria by a long way, dwarfing the passenger traffic of all the other airports in Austria combined. Having reached a record passenger total of over 31.6 million passengers in 2019, the airport narrowly achieved a new record in 2024 with over 31.7 million passengers served.
