Punctuality is one of the key metrics when it comes to measuring an airline’s performance. Defined as the percentage of flights that arrive at their destination within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, on-time performance (OTP) gives us a useful insight into whether or not they can expect their journey to be delayed when traveling with a particular airline. Carriers want this to be as high as possible.
