Telkomsel expands 5G in Makassar with 73 new base stations

Technology giant Huawei and Saudi Arabian operator Zain KSA have announced the launch of the Riyadh Antenna Platform, which the partners describe as a groundbreaking innovation tailored to meet the unique needs of the Saudi telecommunications market.

Orange Tunisia, Ooredoo Tunisia and Tunisie Telecom all launched their respective 5G mobile services late last week, less than three months after receiving their 5G licenses.

Malaysian telco and second licenced 5G operator U Mobile said on Thursday it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with state-backed Melaka ICT Holdings (MICTH) to boost deployment of its 5G network in Malacca.
