Bharti Airtel expands international roaming with unlimited data bundles

Nokia’s Indian unit, Nokia Solutions and Networks India Pvt Ltd, has reportedly sold its 0.95% stake in Vodafone Idea (Vi) to a group of global investment banks in a bulk deal worth INR7.85 billion (US$92 million).

Poland-based telecoms infrastructure company Emitel has signed an agreement with Orange to build several hundred new mobile towers across the country.

State-owned telco Kazakhtelecom JSC has reportedly signed separate deals this week – one to finalise the selloff of its mobile unit MTS, and the other to build a subsea cable connecting Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
