Axiata shareholders give blessing to XL Axiata-Smartfren merger

Axiata Group announced on Monday that its shareholders approved the proposed merger between Indonesian telecoms operators XL Axiata and Smartfren Telecom during its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
