Australia’s airlines have been in the news at the start of this week, with Qantas and its low-cost arm Jetstar making headlines in the run-up to International Women’s Day on March 8th. Indeed, these carriers are operating more than 50 flights with all-female crews this week to mark the occasion. However, along with Virgin Australia, they are also responsible for some of the largest gender pay gaps in the country.
