South Africa-Singapore subsea cable project receives fresh investment

A new high-capacity cable system connecting Greece with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia may be on the way after a recent agreement between the two countries.

Cirion Technologies, a digital infrastructure and technology provider in Latin America, has announced the expansion of its fibre network in Mexico, with a new AI-ready fibre duct, enhancing connectivity between Mexico City and Querétaro.

Telecom Egypt and subsea data system supplier SubCom said on Wednesday that they have successfully completed two cable landing stations in Egypt for the India-Europe-Xpress (IEX) subsea cable system.
