New partnership targets 5G private mobile networks market

EDOTCO Bangladesh, which describes itself as the country’s leading integrated telecommunications infrastructure provider, has launched its newly modernised 5G-ready tower operation centre (TOC) in Dhaka.

Ericsson revealed on Monday that it has now deployed 100,000 massive MIMO 5G radios for Bharti Airtel across its 12 circles as the Indian telco says it’s on track to complete its 5G rollout next month.

Technology group Liquid Intelligent Technologies, and South Africa’s Western Cape Government have announced at the Africa Tech Festival 2024 in Cape Town that they have renewed a partnership to continue expanding connectivity in the province.
