Airport Chaos: Frankfurt and Hamburg Security Workers Will Join Lufthansa Ground Crew On Strike

Security workers are set to join airline employees in a strike action at two of Germany's largest airports on Thursday. Members of the United Services Union, known locally as ver.di (which stands for Vereinte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft), who work in people and goods screening, cargo screening, and service areas of the security sector are being called to go on strike on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 at Frankfurt and Hamburg Airport.
